History
In 1969, Glenn Teachey founded Teachey Mechanical specializing in commercial and industrial HVAC. Working day by day and job by job, Teachey Mechanical built a reputation centered on quality, integrity and reliability. Teachey Mechanical quickly became the Southeast's trusted leader in design and installation of mechanical systems.

Teachey Service Company, formerly TBG, was founded in 1972 as the start-up and warranty subcontractor for Teachey Mechanical. Teachey Service Company expanded its services to include preventive maintenance, service, replacement, building controls and energy management. As a result, the Teachey Companies became the leading single source provider for HVAC solutions in the Southeast serving SC, NC, Alabama, Tennessee, and Virginia.
